The Steez Gallery, located at 85 W Pearl St in Nashua, NH, has intended to bring new artwork to light with their choices of alternative artwork and work with new and upcoming artists. In the month of November, Deshevski will be exhibiting her abstract artworks for a benefit to the American Cancer Society.
Deshevski’s works are abstract and modern, exploring ever growing shapes and colors. The artist’s statement reads: “These artworks are  metaphors for life, for security/insecurity,  for the acceptance of life’s travails.  She expresses  danger and loneliness, but  she also expresses acceptance, endurance, and survival; each brushstroke, each depression of her fingers in  clay  a dialog, a conversation with materials to create a whole. This non-objective work synthesizes the  work of the early Modernists and the late Modernists Hoffman to create something new, a textural non-objective artwork.”
All artist’s profits for Deshevski’s pieces will be donated to the American Cancer Society Northeast Division. Direct donations can be mailed to the American Cancer Society, Northeast Devision, Inch. 30 Speen St., PO Box 9376, Framingham, MA.
